December 3 & 4, 2012 - Bombay, India
On Dec 3rd and 4th 2012, The Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) conducted a 2-day breast cancer screening camp at its corporate headquarters in Mumbai, India. At the heart of this screening camp was NoTouch BreastScan, providing a safe and comfortable option for women employees of BMC to step forward and pro-actively become breast health aware. The camp was a huge success! An overwhelming 450 women signed up (in-person) to get the NTBS scan.
Unfortunately, we could only accomodate 130 of them over the span of two days. We are now making efforts to make it available to the rest. We thankful to Aastha (non-profit breast cancer support group), Dr. Shekhar Kulkarni, Mrs. Geeta Gawli (BMC Health Chairwoman) and our team in Mumbai to make this event a great milestone in our fight against breast cancer.
